Greenwich Girl Scouts Troop 199

|
| Where girls grow strong |
Welcome to our first year Greenwich Catholic School Girl Scouts!!!
In the course of the
year, we will plan to do some of the following activities each will depend on the girls’ preferences and parent involvement.
Parent involvement is key to a Girl Scout Troop's success.
A troop leader cannot and should not stand alone, after all , this is your daughter's
troop, not the leader's troop.
Ø Service Project
Ø Arts and crafts
Ø Outdoor events
Ø Multi-level events
Ø Learn the Girl Scout Promise and understand the Law
Ø Learn songs/games
There are so many ways you can help your daughter's troop! Troops need help with meetings, cookies, outings, try-its and badges, service projects,
errands, telephone calls, etc.
Talk with your daughter's leader
and see what is most needed. Also, check out our Family Patch program. By completing some requirements that will benefit your
daughter and her troop, you can help her earn a patch!
Though, the biggest reward is taking an interest and being involved in an activity important to your daughter!

Girl Scout Promise
On my honor I will try: To serve god and my country,
To help people at all times And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
|
The Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be honest and fair,
friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to respect myself and others,
respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
